Pol Vila Sarriá is project assistant at TEPSA – the Trans European Policy Studies Association – in Brussels. He is interested in the protection of human rights and political and cultural developments in the Western Balkans and Post-Soviet states. Prior to joining TEPSA, Pol worked as a junior researcher at the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society where he analysed Kosovo and Spain relations from different perspectives. He has completed internships in the EU Rule of Law mission in Kosovo and at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in the Hague, and has written extensively about the Western Balkans for different media outlets.
Pol is thrilled to join the SEnECA team. He is particularly interested in the Soviet legacy in Central Asia and its impact in today’s policies and relations with the European Union. He expects SEnECA to help bringing Central Asian and European citizens closer together. Within the project, he assists the team of Work Wackage 3 – “Awareness-raising, dissemination and communication”.
