As operator of this website, the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), together with the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) and the Centre International de Formation Européenne (CIFE), are committed to protect any personal information that is collected from you via our website. We will treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the statutory data protection regulations of the countries of the institutions headquarters.
1. What information we collect, why and for how long?
You can generally serve our website without the provision of your personal data. However, there are several services we provide that might make a provision of your personal data necessary, in this case, we specifically will obtain your consent to this.
SEnECA offers to send a newsletter to all those interested in the project. The newsletter is published quarterly and contains updates from the SEnECA project, interesting contributions from our consortium members as well as news and events concerning EU-Central Asia relations. Anyone who would like to stay updated on the project’s progress can register for the newsletter via the registration form on our website. If you register for the newsletter, we ask you for your name and e-mail address, in order to be able to deliver the newsletter to you.
As TEPSA is responsible for the SEnECA Newsletter, they are the processors of this data. The registration requests are sent directly to them, so they can add the interested to the mailing list. This mailing list for the newsletter will not be shared with any other institution.
Your name and e-mail address will be stored until you unsubscribe or request that weerase your personal information.

In case you have questions, requests or comments concerning SEnECA, you are welcome to contact us via the provided contact form on our website or our e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org. In order to provide you with answers to your questions, requests or comments, we will ask for your name and e-mail address.
The contact requests and therewith personal data are handled by CIFE. Depending on your request, they might share the mail including your name and e-mail address with TEPSA or UDE and the Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP) as project lead. In case the question would only be able to be answered by another consortiums member, they will share the request but without your personal information.
Your name, e-mail address will be stored in connection to your request until you request that we erase your personal information.

You also have the right to request and obtain the erasure of the personal data we collected concerning you from our records. You can request this via our e-mail address email@example.com or the contact form on the website, and we will delete your personal data from our records.
